About us

In 2015 we (Lee and Matt) came up with this business idea over a pre-football away day pint, proving once and for all that great minds think alike!. Little did we know, that pre-football brainstorm would turn into the proud business it is today.

Choosing a trusted builder is crucial; they’re the foundation that ensures your project stands strong and true. We've been in the business for a long time and have a solid grasp on what works and what doesn’t.

LPM Construction has a dedicated project manager, quantity surveyor, skilled architects and structural engineers, and a team of reputable tradespeople and sub-contractors, including builders, roofers, electricians, plumbers, joiners and tilers etc.

  • “I started my career in the construction industry as a trainee Quantity Surveyor, completing a Higher National Diploma in Building Studies...

Since then, I have gained 25 years’ experience in the industry, building up a wealth of experience in the commercial and private sector along the way.

My time spent in the commercial sector has enabled me to develop a professional, quality approach to my work. After setting up the business in 2015 with Matt, it became apparent that by adopting the same professional, commercial approach for the domestic market, our company could quickly develop.

We’ve seen great success already as a business, thanks to the personal touch we can give to our clients and the excellent relationships that we’ve developed with our tradespeople, who deliver quality workmanship consistently every time.

As a person, I consider myself to be professional, reliable and honest; these are qualities which I believe underpin our business values and will drive our company forwards in years to come.

LPM Construction takes up much of my time but when I do get the chance to relax, I like to spend time with my three children, run half marathons, watch football and socialise.”

  • “My experience of working in the construction industry spans 30 years. After leaving school at 16 years old, I went to Building College and gained ...

a City and Guilds Advanced Craft qualification in bricklaying (NVQ Level 3).

I started out my working life at a local family-run business, carrying out small extensions, new build homes and pub refurbishments. After a brief spell of working in the commercial sector on various high profile sites, I soon realised the domestic market held more of an appeal.

So, 15 years ago, I ventured out into the world of self-employment. I ran my own business successfully and was able to gain many repeat clients, before going into partnership with Lee and setting up LPM Construction.

I find challenging projects very motivating and always strive to over-deliver where possible to exceed the client’s expectations. I would say I’m conscientious, honest and considerate and this comes across in the work that I do day-to-day. When I’m not working, much like Lee, I can usually be found watching sports and spending quality time with friends and family.”
